Effective May 3, 1997, nationals of certain countries can obtain a Tourist/Business visa directly upon arrival at the Beirut International Airport or any other port of entry at the Lebanese border.

The countries are as follows:

Australia	Italy
Austria	Japan
Belgium	Luxembourg
Canada	Norway
Denmark	Portugal
Finland	South Korea
France	Spain
Germany	Sweden
Greece	Switzerland
Holland	United Kingdom (England)
Ireland	United States of America

These nationals should make sure that their passports do not have any mention of Israel on them, otherwise they will be denied entry into Lebanon.

Artists and other citizens of these countries who intend to work or perform in Lebanon are required to apply for a working permit with the Embassy or one of its Consulates.
