Passports
New Passport
- Fill in two complete passport application forms, one in English and one in Arabic(include right thumb print on white card)
- Three 2*2 notarized photos
- Original Lebanese I.D. (Tathkarat al-Hawiya or Ikhraj Kayd)
- Old Lebanese Passport (if lost, a police report is required)
- For 16 years old and up, a recent Ikhraj-Kayd is required
- Self-stamped return address envelope
- A money order payable to the Embassy of Lebanon in the amount of:
- $25.00 for one year
- $100.00 for five years
N.B.:Please contact the Embassy or the Consulate within your jurisdiction and ask for the "White Card Form"
, which MUST be submitted with your application.
This white card should have the print of your right thumb notarized from your local notary public, who should provide you with the following notarized statement:
Before me, a notary public, in and for County of _____________, personally appeared Mr./Mrs._________________, holder of Lebanese Passport or Lebanese I.D. (Tazkarat
Al-Hawiya or Ikhraj Kayd) No.________________, issued ( date, Place ), who signed and affixed his right hand thumb on the annexed White Card Form.

- $25.00 for one year renewal
- $100.00 for 5 years renewal

Adding Pages to Passport
- Valid Lebanese Passport
- A money order in the amount of $10.00 payable to the Embassy of Lebanon
- Self-stamped return address envelope

Adding child/children name(s) on passport
- The father of the child should be Lebanese
- Child's registration should precede his adding to his parent's Lebanese passport
- Birth Certificate
- Notarized letter from both parents authorizing the embassy to add their dependent to one of their Lebanese passports
- Two 2x2 photos
- A money order in the amount of $10.00 per child payable to the Embassy of Lebanon
- Self-stamped return address envelope

Adding spouse to Passport
- Registering the marriage should precede the following steps
- Marriage Certificate
- Valid Lebanese Passport of the requester
- A money order in the amount of $10.00 payable to the Embassy of Lebanon
- Self-stamped return address envelope

Renewal of Palestinian Travel Document
- For holders of travel documents issued after 1/1/1990, the applicants should:
- Fill in passport application form (include right thumb print on the white card)
- Three 2x2 photos (notarized from a notary public)
- Bitakat Iashi plus Tathkarat al-Hawiya
- A money order in the amount of $25.00 payable to the Embassy of Lebanon
Note: To be able to travel to Lebanon, the applicant must apply for a visa (see visa requirements - Palestinian refugees)
- For holders of travel documents issued before 1/1/1990, the applicant should:
- Fill in passport application form (include right thumb print on the white card)
- Send copies of: the travel document, UNRWA card and the Palestinian ID
- Granting the renewal is, exclusively, based on the approval of the Lebanese Security General
- Three 2x2 photos (notarized from a notary public)
- A money order in the amount of $25.00 payable to the Embassy of Lebanon
- Self-stamped return address envelope
Note: Please allow a period of two to three months for the reply
